A picture is worth a thousand words, and when you're giving a presentation, a few of your photos placed throughout the presentation can capture an audience. The iPhoto To Keynote plugin ($9.95) makes it easy to export your best shots into a Keynote presentation. Don't believe us? Download the demo and give it a try! It's fully functional, but you can only export 3 photos at a time. Note that this requires iPhoto 08 and Keynote 4 or newer. Contact us if you are using an earlier version.

How to Install - iPhoto 09 and newer

  1. In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder and type in "~/Library" (without the quotes). This takes you to your hidden Library folder.
  2. Inside the Application Support directory, make an iPhoto folder (File > New Folder, rename it iPhoto) if one doesn't already exist and make a Plugins folder inside of that (select the iPhoto folder, choose File > New Folder, and rename it Plugins).
  3. Make sure you've mounted the iPhotoToKeynote.dmg file you downloaded by double-clicking it
  4. Go to the disk image in the finder (it'll show up on the left under Devices) and copy the iPhotoToKeynote.iPhotoExporter bundle (not the .dmg file itself) from the disk image to the Plugins folder
That's it! If you purchase the full version, make sure to remove the demo version before adding the full version
